Measurement of hydraulic cylinder cycle time for excavator

2010-02-15

Measure the cycle time of the hydraulic cylinders for the boom, forearm, and bucket. This is also a measurementUsed excavatorAn important performance indicator that can be used as a reference.

preparation:

1. Measure the cycle time of the boom cylinder:
Extend the forearm, flip the empty bucket in, and lower the bucket to the ground.
2. Measure the cycle time of the forearm cylinder:
Flip the empty bucket in, make the forearm perpendicular to the ground, and lower the boom until the bucket is 0.5 meters (20 inches) above the ground.
3. Measure the cycle time of the bucket cylinder:
The empty bucket should be placed in the middle of the flipping in and out stroke, so that the edge of its side panel is perpendicular to the ground.
4. Maintain the temperature of the hydraulic oil

Measurement:

1. Select the positions of the following switches:
Engine control dial: maximum position
E-mode switch: OFF
HP mode switch: OFF
Work mode selector: General purpose mode
Automatic slow switch: OFF
2. MeasurementCylinderCycle time:
(Full stroke of oil cylinder, including buffer zone)
(1) Boom oil cylinder:
Measure the time to raise the boom and the time to lower the shovel arm. To do this, place the boom at one end of the stroke and quickly push the control lever to the other end of the stroke.
(2) Small arm oil cylinder:
Measure the time required for the forearm to extend and retract. To do this, place the forearm at one end of the stroke and quickly push the control lever to the other end of the stroke.
(3) Bucket oil cylinder:
Measure the time required for the bucket to flip back and out. To do so, place the bucket at one end of the stroke and quickly push the control lever to the other end of the stroke.
3. Repeat each measurement 3 times and calculate the average value.
