Measurement of Oil Discharge from Excavator Rotary Motor

For inspectionexcavating machineryThe performance of the rotary motor allows the upper rotary platform to measure the amount of oil discharged from the rotary motor during rotation.

Note: The amount of oil discharged from the swing motor may vary due to the temperature of the hydraulic oil Keep the hydraulic oil temperature around 50 degrees.

preparation:

1. Keep the hydraulic oil temperature at around 50 degrees. Rotate the rotary motor to warm up the interior of the motor.
2. Stop the engine securely. Press the air release valve at the top of the hydraulic oil tank to release any remaining pressure
3. Disassemble the discharge hose of the rotary motor on the end of the hydraulic oil tank. Install the plug ontoHydraulic cylinderThe end that has been disassembled.

Precautions for measurement:

1. Select the following switch positions: Engine control dial: Fast slow
E-mode switch: OFF
HP mode switch: OFF
Work mode selector: General purpose mode
Automatic slow switch: OFF

 Measurement:

1. Oil discharge during the rotation of the upper rotary platform
(1) The forearm cylinder is fully retracted. The bucket cylinder is fully extended. Lift the upper arm so that the height of the lower arm pin is the same as the height of the upper arm's foot pin. The bucket must be empty.
(2) Start the engine. Operate the rotary control lever to full stroke and hold it. When the rotational speed reaches a constant maximum speed, the measurement of oil discharge begins. The measurement time should be at least 45 seconds.
(3) Repeat the measurement at least 3 times in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and calculate the average value.
2. Oil discharge volume when the oil circuit of the rotary motor overflows
(1) Insert the teeth of the bucket into the ground as shown in the figure, so that the upper rotary platform cannot rotate when the rotary control lever is fully operated.
(2) Start the engine. Operate the rotary control lever to full stroke and hold it. When the discharged oil starts to flow out from the end of the oil discharge hose, start measuring the oil discharge. The measurement time should be over 45 seconds.
(3) Measure at least 3 times in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and calculate the average value.
