Continuity testing of excavator fuse

Excavator fuse failures are often caused by small cracks inside the fuse, which are difficult to detect with the naked eye. useexcavating machineryTesting the connectivity of fuses with a testing device is far superior to visual inspection.

(1) Turn the key switch to ON

When doing so, the battery relay is activated by the current from terminal M of the key switch, and electrical energy is supplied to all circuits except for the hot wire ignition plug relay circuit.

(2) Remove the fuse box cover and set the correct voltage measurement range for the tester. (Measurement range: 0-30V)

(3) Connect the negative probe to the vehicle ground and use the positive probe of the tester to touch the outer terminal of each fuse. When the continuity of a certain fuse is intact, the tester will indicate 20 ^ 25 volts.

Note: (a) The inner terminal of the fuse in the fuse box is connected to the power supply, while its outer terminal is connected to the accessory equipment. Test all fuses using the same method, except for the fuse used for the hot wire ignition plug relay circuit. (b) To inspect the fuse used for the hot wire ignition plug relay circuit. Turn the key switch to the preheating position and conduct the test according to the method described in (3)
