Excavator cooling water always has insufficient alarm

Fault phenomenon:Kobelco excavatorAn alarm for insufficient cooling water occurs every day

Cause analysis:

1. After the cooling water alarm occurred, it was found that there was a lot of cooling water in the auxiliary water tank, while the main water tank was indeed short of water. Initially, it was suspected that there was a problem with the water tank cover or the connecting pipes between the main and auxiliary water tanks. After replacing them all, the fault still existed
2. After opening the water tank cover and putting the engine on high throttle, a large number of bubbles were found to have emerged from the water tank, so it is preliminarily judged that the cylinder gasket has been flushed
3. During the cylinder break experiment, it was found that the bubbles in the water tank decreased significantly after cutting off cylinder 5, indicating that the cylinder pad at cylinder 5 had been flushed
After disassembling the cylinder head, it was found that the screw hole of the cylinder gasket near cylinder 5 was damaged
