The reporter learned from the Municipal Environmental Protection Office yesterday that in order to accelerate the pollution control of non road mobile machinery in the city and further improve the environmental air quality, the city will conduct a census, testing and registration of non road mobile machinery, and issue environmental protection labels uniformly.Starting from September 1st, non road mobile machinery without environmental protection labels will be prohibited throughout the city.

The scope of census registration mainly includes all diesel and electric non road mobile machinery used, leased, and traded within the jurisdiction of our city, including excavation machinery, earthmoving and transportation machinery, comprehensive machinery, concrete machinery, etc.

During the census process, testing will also be conducted in accordance with the emission standards for non road mobile machinery engines, and free environmental electronic labels will be issued, non road mobile machinery license plates will be installed, networked and paper files will be filled out, and non road machinery registration certificates will be issued. The environmental protection labels for non road mobile machinery are divided into green, blue, and orange, corresponding to electric and national standards respectivelyIII and above emission standards, National II emission standards, and National I and below emission standards. Moreover, non road machinery needs to be equipped with a Beidou positioning system, and the monitoring platform will consolidate and monitor the machinery information uniformly.

According to the plan, this yearComplete the census and registration of non road mobile machinery within the high emission non road mobile machinery prohibited zone (ring expressway) in the urban area before June 30th; Complete the city's census registration work before August 30th. Starting from September 1st, non road mobile machinery without environmental protection labels, mechanical license plates, and monitoring devices installed will be prohibited throughout the city.
