Looking ahead, the institution maintains its judgment of the excavator market being "low in the beginning and high in the end" for the whole year. It is expected that the industry will still be in a downturn in the first quarter, but the year-on-year decline is expected to narrow after hitting bottom in January; Starting from the second quarter, the succession of local governments has been gradually completed, and various infrastructure projects are expected to be launched or resumed on a large scale, driving the excavator industry towards gradual recovery. Under such a scenario assumption, Shanghai Huacheng predicts that the overall sales of excavators in the industry are expected to achieve a slight increase of about 2% in 2012.
