At the "Rising Chinese Brands" and "2009 (2nd) China Brand Forum" and award ceremony hosted by China Enterprise News, Tsinghua University China Cultural and Creative Industry Research Center, China Private Economy Research Association, and Centennial Brand Network, the "Yuchai" brand created by Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the "60 Year China Brand Image Award", and Yan Ping, Chairman of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd., was named the "2009 China Brand Meritorious Person".
2009 (2nd) ChinabrandThe forum awards ceremony took stock of the rising Chinese brands and commended the enterprises and entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions to establishing national brand image and building independent brands in 60 years of economic development and the 2009 financial crisis.
The "China Brand Image Award" won by Yuchai is a special award newly established by the organizing committee this year. The organizing committee stated that in the 60 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, a group of enterprises have created or inherited distinctive national brands, established a good image in the international market, and have high international competitiveness, known as the "economic backbone of the Republic's development".
Yan Ping, who was awarded the title of "2009 Chinese Brand Meritorious Figure", passed the strict assessment by the organizing committee on his contribution, leadership, driving force, forward-looking awareness, innovation, personal brand image, credibility, social responsibility and other comprehensive indicators to the corporate brand. This award aims to recognize business leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the construction of independent brands and the development of the national economy and society this year, as well as actively promoting the brand development model of enterprises and achieving certain results during the financial crisis.
